Cycling in the Niagara Region
The Niagara Region boasts many cycling trails and opportunities in and around Niagara Falls. The Niagara trail mix includes long winding backcountry paths, smooth recreational trails along the Niagara River and Welland Canal, recovered and resurfaced railway lines, and leafy cross-country tracks through woods and orchards. Lightly travelled and shared - use roadways connect and extend the possibilities of bicycling away from vehicle traffic.

The 2nd edition of Regional Niagara's Bicycling Map has details of multi-use trails, bike paths and information on all the back roads in the region. Recreational, tourist or utilitarian bicyclists now have access to the best information on routes throughout Niagara. It also includes information on road conditions (paved vs. unpaved), bicycle facilities (bike lanes), traffic conditions and location of hills is presented.
